The Princeton Review’s Best-Value Public Colleges For 2011

University of Michigan UnionDuring your college search, you’ll probably come to the point where you have to decide whether you want to go in-state to the public college and save money on college, or go out-of-state and as far away from home as possible.  Either way, you’ll have the option to attend a public university in your state or someone else’s, and according to the Princeton Review and USA Today, there are some great public schools out there with great values.  Here’s the breakdown from Princeton Review and USA Today:

To determine their rankings, the Princeton Review and USA Today considered data from surveys conducted at 650 competitive colleges and universities. Of these, 50 private and 50 public colleges were selected for excellence in academic strength, cost of attendance and financial aid. All financial information was provided in fall 2010, and other surveys took place between the fall of 2009 and 2010.

Here are the top ten best-value public colleges for 2011:
University of Virginia
New College of Florida
University of Florida
State University of New York at Binghamton
