Students who are looking for some extra help with paying for their tuition fees can apply for a scholarship by internet domain hosting company, GoDaddy.com.
The organization will give out a total of around $100,000 in scholarships to 10 students again this year. Officials at the company say that the scholarship program benefits students, the economy and future business operations.
"For us, investing in these students is investing in our own future," Warren Adelman, chief executive officer of GoDaddy.com, said in a statement. "These could be our Go Daddy colleagues in a few years. Go Daddy is looking to hire people passionate about technology, people who want to push themselves to make a difference – that’s what Go Daddy is all about."
Scholarships can be a great way to better manage the costs of earning a degree. In today's challenging economy, graduating from college can be a valuable investment in your future. According to a recent study by the U.S. Census Bureau, a college degree can have a positive effect on an individual's long-term earning potential, with college graduates making over $1 million more over the course of their working lives than people lacking a degree.
If you're considering filling out a college application, be sure to research scholarships as a potential way to help pay for things like tuition.
