With stealth applications increasing, and so many fragmented college information channels available today, Cappex.com and communications agency Lipman Hearne together initiated a study of more than 11,000 college-bound students to understand how they do their college research and why more and more students are now applying stealth to some colleges.
The study, which is the largest one ever done on the subject, goes in-depth on the college attributes that students say are “must haves,” and where colleges should focus their 2013 messaging. It also answers the questions of how big of a role social media and mobile are now playing in the college search and which traditional media continue to resonate. These questions and more are answered in this latest research.
